Twitter is Really Struggling This Week
It seems to have flared up again with Macworld and again with CES, but holy crap: Twitter is crapping out a lot lately. Doesn't matter what angle you hit it from: phone apps, web, SMS, etc. it's just choking and crawling. I'm still curious why no one like Google has stepped up with something to compete with it like Facebook and others have done with MySpace. FriendFeed is one of several, but Twitter is a good idea with poor execution.

Google recently enabled SMS to Gmail functionality, so I think they may be headed in that direction.
Hmm. I wonder if Gwitter is a good name?
