Rain, Finally

After a long, dry Summer and Fall, we're finally getting a nice, slow, soaking drizzle in Virginia. In fact, most of the southeast is getting it. This is really good news for us and hopefully brings some of the resevoirs up to better conditions. Atlanta was in really bad shape until recently. I haven't checked today, but I'm hoping this rain gives them a little break from the doom and gloom news they've been used to for months.

The Weather Sucks Today

It followed back from Seattle to Virginia it seems. Cold, gray, windy and rainy. Equal portions mixed in the blender from Hell. Great day for eating or drinking something hot and staying indoors. I have David Benoit playing throughout the house, so that's my budgetary substitute for not having a real fireplace to sit around. Someday. Someday.
