Dumb Marketing: Killing Trees for Print Ads about Green

The theme this week is "Dumb".

The latest issue of InformationWeek comes stuffed with a multi-page insert called "Green IT Evolutionary Handbook" sponsored by one of my favorite all-time dumbass marketing folks: IBM.  Ever since they left the universal adapter campaign they've fallen off the wagon into the mud.

Not only is this insert eight pages of glossy color print, it's on thicker paper.  Hey, if you're going to kill trees, you might as well kill them in style, right?
