The Ritual Nano Morning Reboot

Like all four iPod Nano's we own, purchased at different times from different sources, the first thing mine does every morning is lock-up when I go to play the first track. Without even thinking twice I reboot it and it works fine until the next morning. I get breakfast, shower, drive to work, drink my coffee, and reboot my Nano. Patterns provide comfort I suppose.  While I respect Apple's adeptness at making inspiring hardware, I'm not impressed at all with their software.
