Portable PowerShell

I spoke too soon (story of my life actually), and found that Karl Prosser had figured out how to make a "portable" PowerShell instance. Then I got to wondering about why I couldn't pull this off using Thinstall (now ThinApp) or something like SoftGrid or Altiris SVS or whatever. God, I wish App Virt technology would just become ubiquitous. Life would be so much easier, but I must avoid diving back into that subject too much. I beat it to death. But it would be nice to run PowerShell 1.0 and 2.0 on demand from any client by just calling the right packaged instance. JRE can be done like that, so I'm sure PS can as well. I'll have to investigate this.
