Cranium Drainium - Nov 21, 2008

Work was great today.  I like the people I work with.  Lot's of fun and we work well together.

Anyone who hasn't tried Google Reader is really missing out.  You will learn a whole new way to absorb information in less time and never get bored.

On the Upside:  Dell.  Bigger profits on lower revenue.  Bodes well for their cost-cutting efforts and proves Mr. Dell is indeed worthy of running the company again.  AMD is making some good moves.  The demo in which they overclocked one of their newest Phenom processors was pretty cool (actually "hot").  It's odd that for such good news on each of them, they ended today lower.  The market is stupid.

On the Downside: Intel, Autodesk, CitiGroup, Pakistan, Retailers

Buttwipes of the week:  GM, Ford, Chrysler, AIG, Citigroup, Somalian pirates

Suckers of the week:  us.

Quote of the Day:  "Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain" - Lily Tomlin

Word of the Day:  beer (porter actually)

What I'm listening to:  David Gilmour, On An Island
